Pains of a Makeover

I need a REVAMP. A makover. If I was a car, it’d be a total overhaul. That’s what I need right now. It started with an idea of having a new hairdo. Out of the four walls of a school and out to the real world, I really have less restrictions. But where do I start? I’ve never been given much freedom as I have now.

The only thing I’ve fulfilled? Working out! Been on the gym for more than a month now and I’m happy. It’s a slow and painful process, but I’m working on it. The only thing I hate about stepping into the monthly end is the part that you have to update the work out plan, and it’s a pain in the arse! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Will keep you updated on what I decide on.

Bring the beat back.

SPILL! What a bummer. To all them students thinking that they can finally let go of their school right after graduation? You got the wrong idea. Here I am printing andย  passing yet another edited copy of my thesis just so I could officially have a diploma.

Haha.

Highlight of my week was certainly the fantastic reunion/night out with my highschool friends. It is what it is, you know. People come and go but most of the amazing personalities you will ever get to meet is in school. Send some lovin.

Thanks for the pic, P.

Here’s to the memories. ๐Ÿ˜‰

03:33 AM

My highschool friends and I finally got a so called reunion after 4 years of not seeing each other, at least! God, we’ve graduated college just this year and dang didย  things change. But even though the clothing and the sizes changed, the personalities and laughters remained the same. Booyah!

What have I learned today? Hmmm. Imma going to spill but hush about it:

  1. I’ve learned that dancing isn’t at all necessary at the dancefloor. Groove is more like it.
  2. I’ve tried to smoke… Uh-oh. Tried, meaning sharing a stick with a smoker friend and that’s it! I swear!
  3. I learned the foul-proof make up to date! I’m loving it! Good foundation and liquid eyeliner helps. Everything else are extras.
  4. Friends last! And the ones who knew you best are the ones from your beloved alma mater! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cheers yall. Peace! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Journal of a Jobless Graduate

The title says it all, I’m a jobless graduate. Now that I’m reviewing for my licensure exams, I can’t really help but be stuck between a student and a working person. It sucks having to ask for an allowance considering that I’m doing nothing.

Was I even more bummed to realize that most 20 year olds do part times and here I am doing nothing. So embarassing, they say it’s cool to have this rest period – but I believe that it’s way cooler to be having an income as well. Dang, I’m even going to the gym now so to get fit and make use of my time.

Hence the heavy blogging and roaming around.

To all students out there, enjoy the perks of the allowance and the social whatever done in your school. When you graduate, you’ll realize that you and the rest of your classmates and friend will have lives on their own that it will be damn hard to keep up.

I have at least six months to get that exam and pass it, but as for now I’ll be your jobless graduate.

*Signing off soon.

Superiority is overrated

SUPERIORITY.ย  It’s one bullshit that still governs the Philippine system. For someone under the system, it’s frustrating. How much more if you’re just a student, being overruled by one assuming professor.

Think of this cliche: Just because your in authority doesn’t mean your always right.

But what can a student do?

Aside from feeding poverty stricken countries, I believe organizations should also research on the many bullies governing schools even today. Traditions suck, and overassumed superiority is overrated.
